Data KYMWA processes
KYMWA processes the account ID you choose, authentication credentials through the authentication service, your birth year if provided, Moment text and optional dates, visibility choices, and uploaded photos when that feature is available to your account. The service also processes operational records such as account timestamps and moderation actions.
Analytics
KYMWA creates random first-party visitor and session identifiers on your device to measure visits, sessions, repeat use, and feature performance. The identifiers are hashed on the server before storage. Analytics dates use UTC. KYMWA does not use these identifiers to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Advertising measurement
Sponsored content may record first-party impression and click events so campaign performance can be measured. KYMWA does not state or imply that these events are used for cross-company tracking.
Public Moments
When you choose PUBLIC, the Moment text, year, optional date, and any associated public media may be visible to other KYMWA users. PRIVATE Moments are not intended for public display.
Safety and moderation
Public Moment text may be checked for high-confidence unsafe or abusive content. Reports, blocks, and moderation decisions are processed to protect users and operate the service.
Photos and metadata
When KYMWA prepares an uploaded Moment photo, the client resizes and re-encodes the image before upload. This process removes ordinary embedded EXIF metadata from the generated upload image.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your KYMWA account inside the app. The account, Moments, and uploaded photos associated with the account are deleted through the account-deletion flow. Limited security or audit records may be retained when required for abuse prevention, integrity, or legal obligations.
